The Addams Family Welcome Night

The Addams Family Launch Night

Make 8th January a date in your diary as we are looking for the creepy and the kooky, mysterious and spooky to gather at the launch of our 2024 musical – The Addams Family.

Hundreds of years ago, the Addams family ancestors came from the old country and settled on a plot of land in what is now New York’s Central Park. This was, of course, long before it was a park, when it was still wilderness. The family flourished for many generations, and eventually, a huge house was built where a great Spanish oak, the Addams Family Tree, had been planted to protect the ancestral graves from such annoyances as sunlight and tourists.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

There are a fantastic selection of roles available which require a fantastic cast to fill them. Could that be you? Turn up and find out the details and meet the creative team

Keep an eye out on our website and social media for more information following the launch night!

The Production Team:
Director – Jane Tudor

There are some workshops planned which will be shared at the Welcome Event – so whether you are a Fester or a Morticia, a Grandma, a Pugsley, a Lurch or a Gomez, a Wednesday, a Beineke or an ancestor join us and Thing to find out more….it’ll be a scream!
